York Early Music Festival 2021 Online

Recorded at the National Centre for Early Music in June, this programme explores the wealth of music by continental composers collected by Elizabethan music lovers in their anthologies. Chansons, madrigals and motets by Gombert, Clemens and Lassus rub shoulders with pieces by native composers such as Tallis, Parsons and Byrd.
